

Since 1940, Odd Fellows have been using the Pythian Cave, an escarpment cave deep in the hinterlands of Northern California, overlooking Mount Shasta, to confer the Second Degree. For most of that time, this tradition was lovingly maintained by the members of Yreka Lodge #19. But during the pandemic, they asked the Grand Lodge of California to take over the management of the cave. Our Lodge Hall - Holds 175 for events such as receptions and business meetings not requiring tables and 125 for seated events such as dinners, birthday parties and wedding receptions.

The branch aims to further the work of Odd Fellowship and impart the principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity. In the United States and Canada, membership in the Encampment is open for men and women holding the third degree in the Odd Fellows Lodge.
