Buckley Encampment #40 was originally chartered in the 1890s and has served the needs of Odd Fellows looking for further instruction and enlightenment ever since. We meet to enrich the experience of being Odd Fellows with the perspective of the Patriarchal branch.
The Grand Encampment is a higher branch in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Membership is open to all Third Degree members in good standing. The branch aims to further the work of Odd Fellowship and impart the principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity. The Odd Fellows began their journey in Virginia on May 4th, 1833 with the establishment of Virginia Lodge #1 in Harpers Ferry, Virginia.
