Fairview Rebekah Lodge #115 began January 15, 1946. July 1, 2026. We will celebrate our 80th by being in the parade and having a tea at the hall after the parade. Everyone Welcome!! We're a very small lodge in a small rural community in Southern Alberta, in need of new members! We hold a Bingo First Friday every month 7:00pm except July and August. Everyone is Welcome. The Virginia Rebekah Assembly is the governing body for the Virginia Rebekahs. Established on September 20, 1851, the Rebekahs, also known as the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies (IARA), and originally the Daughters of Rebekah is an international service-oriented organization and a branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. It was initially designed as the female auxiliary of the IOOF but now allows both female and male members.
The Odd Fellows began their journey in Virginia on May 4th, 1833 with the establishment of Virginia Lodge #1 in Harpers Ferry, Virginia. At that time there was not a Grand Lodge of Virginia yet, so this lodge was under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of the United States (now referred to as the Sovereign Grand Lodge) for the first few years. Instituted in 1863 in Irvington, a district of modern Fremont California. We have a small museum upstairs and a lodge in great condition. Social dinners plus Holidays are had monthly with business meetings for Rebekahs and Odd Fellows 1st Monday and 3rd Thursday, respectively. Our lodge owned the nearby cemetery which we include in history walks on special occasions or even casual requests. Be sure to visit our website.

The oldest continually running lodge in Virginia, having been instituted after Virginia #1 in Harper's Ferry - which is now in West Virginia since the state split. The Davis Rebekah Lodge, along with the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge, owns the Odd Fellows Lodge Hall building and the surrounding property. The Davis Odd Fellows Lodge is the oldest organization in the area, having been chartered in 1870, well before there was a city of Davis and before the University of California came into town. Kearsarge Lodge #217 Lodge's Hall is Circa 1892 and located within the Olmstead Historic District in the Town of Swampscott, Massachusetts. One key point of interest is that Kearsarge Lodge #217 was one of a few Lodges on the North Shore (Swampscott, Gloucester and Beverly lodge's) that offered the "Fisherman's Degree" in the early 1900's.
