Ladies Encampment Auxiliary aims to further the work of Odd Fellowship and impart the principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity. In the United States and Canada, membership in the Encampment is open for men and women holding the third degree in the Odd Fellows Lodge. Traditionally, however, the Ladies Encampment Auxiliary (L.E.A.) and Grand Ladies Encampment Auxiliary (GLEA), were formed for women who are members of a Rebekah Lodge in good standing.

The Patriarchs Militant is the uniformed branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, established in 1885. It represents the highest degree within the IOOF, focusing on ceremonial and fraternal activities. Patriarchs Militant lodges are referred to as Cantons. Sometimes the Patriarchs Militant is referred to as “the Canton”, due to the Canton being the name used instead of “Lodge”.

Western Star Lodge #81 was founded in October 1871. In June 2024, we sold our building at 413 State Street and moved to 404 State Street. This move includes Augusta LEA #23, Augusta Encampment #23, Augusta Justice Canton #32, Augusta Western Star #81, and Augusta Rebekahs #350, all of which are active. The Wheeling Encampment #1 is a higher branch in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows whose aim is to further the work of Odd Fellowship and impart the principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity.
