IOOF Fraternity Lodge #6 has been in existence since 1886 and in our recently remodeled and upgraded building continuously since 1897.
The Oregon Grand Encampment is the governing body for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Encampments in Oregon. Membership is open to all Third Degree members in good standing. The branch aims to further the work of Odd Fellowship and impart the principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity. In the United States and Canada, membership in the Encampment is open for men and women holding the third degree in the Odd Fellows Lodge. Serving North Portland since 1894, Peninsula Lodge is an active and integral part of the community. Most members are in their 30s and 40s. The lodge operates as a co-op community center offering martial art, dance, music, and theater classes. All instructors are members of the lodge. Outside rentals are not allowed, but non-profits, schools, and government agencies may use the building for free. We do things differently, as we work to Keep Portland Odd.
