Serving North Portland since 1894, Peninsula Lodge is an active and integral part of the community. Most members are in their 30s and 40s. The lodge operates as a co-op community center offering martial art, dance, music, and theater classes. All instructors are members of the lodge. Outside rentals are not allowed, but non-profits, schools, and government agencies may use the building for free. We do things differently, as we work to Keep Portland Odd.

Fun Facts:Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th U.S. President and Civil War hero, was an Odd Fellow. His involvement helped elevate the IOOF’s prominence during America’s “Golden Age of Fraternalism.”
