Lodge Type: Odd Fellows
Serving North Portland since 1894, Peninsula Lodge is an active and integral part of the community. Most members are in their 30s and 40s. The lodge operates as a co-op community center offering martial art, dance, music, and theater classes. All instructors are members of the lodge. Outside rentals are not allowed, but non-profits, schools, and government agencies may use the building for free. We do things differently, as we work to Keep Portland Odd.
The Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) is a non-political and non-sectarian international fraternal order established to improve and elevate the character of mankind by promoting the principles of friendship, love, truth, faith, hope, and charity in Plano TX since 1870.
We meet every Friday night at 7:30. On the second and fourth Fridays, we have Encampment meetings after the regular lodge meeting. We are on the second floor, above the "Frugal Frog" store and next to the Ripley Library.
