The Dryden Canton is over a hundred years old. Its home was at IOOF Scotia Lodge #11 Westville.The Canton was inactive for about five years but was reestablished two years ago. We now have ten members. The Patriarchs Militant (PM) is the highest degree within the IOOF, focusing on ceremonial and fraternal activities. Patriarchs Militant lodges are referred to as Cantons.

Established in 1854, Eastern Star Lodge # 1 has existed in the town of Pictou for 174 years. We continue to be active in our community.
