Established in 1885, Mapleton Lodge #101 is a local chapter of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) and promotes personal and social development through fraternity and community service. Please contact us for more information or if you would like to become a member.

The Minnesota Grand Encampment was Instituted June 7, 1871 and is the governing body for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Encampments in Minnesota. At our 2025 session, it was agreed to change our annual meeting to the first Saturday of October. This was done to encourage younger members to participate by avoiding the conflicting time of the traditional MEA long weekend. The Patriarchs Militant is the uniformed branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, established in 1885. It represents the highest degree within the IOOF, focusing on ceremonial and fraternal activities. Patriarchs Militant lodges are referred to as Cantons. Sometimes the Patriarchs Militant is referred to as “the Canton”, due to the Canton being the name used instead of “Lodge”.

The Minnesota Rebekah Assembly is the governing body for the Minnesota Rebekahs. Established on September 20, 1851, the Rebekahs, also known as the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies (IARA), and originally the Daughters of Rebekah is an international service-oriented organization and a branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. It was initially designed as the female auxiliary of the IOOF but now allows both female and male members.

We meet twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, at 6:00 PM. Currently, our lodge meetings are held in the basement of the Congregational Church of Excelsior. We often gather earlier for refreshments at a local brewery, and dinner is generally served prior to the meeting. Lodge 102 is actively involved with Camp Fa-Ho-Cha, an Odd Fellows youth camp near Cleveland, Minnesota. Founded in 1891, the Pine Island Odd Fellows has continued the tradition of service to the Pine Island area for more than 130 years. As one of the few remaining original Odd Fellows lodges in Minnesota, the Pine Island Odd Fellows is proud to carry the banner of Friendship, Love, and Truth.
