We meet twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, at 6:00 PM. Currently, our lodge meetings are held in the basement of the Congregational Church of Excelsior. We often gather earlier for refreshments at a local brewery, and dinner is generally served prior to the meeting. Lodge 102 is actively involved with Camp Fa-Ho-Cha, an Odd Fellows youth camp near Cleveland, Minnesota. The Mississippi Grand Encampment is the governing body for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Encampments in Mississippi. Membership is open to all Third Degree members in good standing. The branch aims to further the work of Odd Fellowship and impart the principles of Faith, Hope, and Charity. The Patriarchs Militant is the uniformed branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, established in 1885. It represents the highest degree within the IOOF, focusing on ceremonial and fraternal activities. Patriarchs Militant lodges are referred to as Cantons. Sometimes the Patriarchs Militant is referred to as “the Canton”, due to the Canton being the name used instead of “Lodge”.
