Kansas - Rebekah Assembly

The Kansas Rebekah Assembly is the governing body for the Kansas Rebekahs. Established on September 20, 1851, the Rebekahs, also known as the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies (IARA), and originally the Daughters of Rebekah is an international service-oriented organization and a branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. It was initially designed as the female auxiliary of the IOOF but now allows both female and male members.

Kearsarge Lodge #217 Lodge's Hall is Circa 1892 and located within the Olmstead Historic District in the Town of Swampscott, Massachusetts. One key point of interest is that Kearsarge Lodge #217 was one of a few Lodges on the North Shore (Swampscott, Gloucester and Beverly lodge's) that offered the "Fisherman's Degree" in the early 1900's.
