Kearsarge Lodge #217
Kearsarge Lodge #217 Lodge's Hall is Circa 1892 and located within the Olmstead Historic District in the Town of Swampscott, Massachusetts. One key point of interest is that Kearsarge Lodge #217 was one of a few Lodges on the North Shore (Swampscott, Gloucester and Beverly lodge's) that offered the "Fisherman's Degree" in the early 1900's. (see attached photo's - two) and our Lodge patch (see attached photo) that was created by our long-time former (deceased) Lodge Secretary Glover "Peter" B. Preble, PG, DDGM, GM.
Kearsarge Lodge #217 is a local chapter of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) and promotes personal and social development through fraternity and community service. Please contact us for more information or if you would like to become a member.
