Bald Mountain Encampment #4 is a historical branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Located in Knights Ferry CA has been active Encampment since the 1850/1860 holding a notable Golden Jubilee anniversary in March of 1905.

This encampment was founded May 11, 1945, and named in honor of William H Barnes, a former Grand Master of Georgia who later became first a Grand Master and then a Grand Secretary of California. Today, the members of Barnes provide education and leadership training to new Odd Fellows in their surrounding region, and act as a center of organizing to help facilitate inter-lodge cooperation.
