True Fellowship Lodge #52 took its name in 1963 upon the consolidation of True Fellowship #238 and Santa Clara #52. It traces its origin back to January 10, 1856 when Santa Clara #52 was chartered in the city of Santa Clara. The members moved into the current building after their previous one was seized through eminent domain. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows was founded in Baltimore Maryland on April 26th, 1819 by Thomas Wildey and four associates. Our Order will celebrate its 206th birthday this year. Yet many folks have never even heard of us. Our lodge was Instituted on 9 December 2023 with nine (9) Charter Members.
